Terribly sorry about the break in posts here the last few days. Without going into too many gruesome details, let’s just say I’ve been pretty sick. I understand it’s been going around lately and it may have something to do with the fact that I taught in four different middle schools last week. Not that it makes anything better to assign blame but if I had to guess, I’d say that my teaching schedule might have had something to do with it.
Two observations: First, teachers are some sort of superheroes. (I already knew this but when you realize the many different slings and arrows that teachers have to dodge and block on a daily basis, it brings a whole new level of respect. Secondly, I am very thankful for antibiotics.
Back in the classroom again tomorrow… You?
